At the Inter-service/Industry Training Simulation and Education Conference (I/ITSEC 2019) held in the Orlando, Florida in USA, ST Engineering received the Outstanding Training System Integration Project award for the Littoral Mission Vessel Simulation Centre (LMV SIMCEN) in the 18th Annual Military Simulation & Training (MS&T) Awards 2019.
Jointly developed with the Defence Science and Technology Agency (DSTA) of Singapore and the Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN), the LMV simulators provide integrated ship crew training in navigation, combat and engineering. Since the opening of the LMV SIMCEN, training time for the LMV crew has been reduced by up to 60%.
